HILLS & HOLLERS
HELP OUR

A MOUNTAIN HURRICANE
On Friday, September 27, 2024, Hurricane Helene rapidly dropped an estimated forty trillion gallons of water over the Appalachian region, causing roughly 53 billion dollars worth of damage. According to PBS, approximately 126,000 homes, 1,000 bridges and culverts, 6,000 miles of road, and 160 water and sewage systems were significantly affected.
The region and its residents have started both the healing and clean-up process, but they will continue to need our support for the long road ahead - especially as cold winter conditions are quickly approaching.
The list below features donation and volunteer opportunities to help our Appalachian neighbors - including our beloved musicians who have been impacted. Please consider helping one of these amazing organizations, so that they can help Appalachia heal. #appalachiastrong
